Nach einer einwöchigen Pause, bin ich wieder ins Olympische Dorf gefahren. Viel hat sich verändert. Die Olympischen Ringen wurden entfernt, die Olympia Fahnen sind den Paraolympischen Fahnen gewichen und in den Containern hängen Bilder von Sumi, das Maskottchen von den Paraolympischen Spielen. Neu im Olympischen Dorf sind viele Russische Volunteers. Es sind Studenten aus dem ganzen Land. Die Volunteers sollen Erfahrungen sammeln, damit Sie zu Hause erklären können, was Volunteering heisst. Denn in Russland ist freiwilligen Arbeit unbekannt. Weiter hat es eine Delegation aus Sochi im Dorf, die Ideen für die nächste Winter Olympiade 2014 sammeln.
My first shift for the Paralympic games
I went to the Paralympic village after a break for a week. It has changed a lot. They removed the Olympic rings and they replaced the Olympic flags with flags from the Paralympic games. There is now a picture from Sumi in the containers. Sumi is the mascot from the Paralympic games. New in the village are the volunteers from Russia. These volunteers are students from around Russia. They have to learn experience about volunteering, because in Russia volunteering is unknown. There is also people from Sochi in the village, to learn more about winter Olympics because the next winter Olympics in 2014 are in Sochi Russia.
