Heute war der letzte Tag der Olympiade in Vancouver. Viele Athleten haben schon vor dem 28. Februar das Olympische Dorf verlassen. Es ist nun ruhiger geworden im Dorf und wo gestern noch Athleten und Ihre Betreuer die Wettkämpfe am TV anschauten herrscht nun gähnende Leere. Was zurückbleibt ist einen Haufen nicht abgeholte Kleider und viele gute Erinnerungen. Für das Gepäck der Athleten hat man ein Check in im Dorf eingerichtet. Zum Abschluss sind alle Teams von Ihren Behausungen durchs Dorf zum Ausgang marschiert. Bis zum 2. März müssen alle Athleten das Dorf verlassen haben. Dann wird das ganze Dorf gereinigt und am 4. März wird das Dorf für die Paraolympischen Spielen eröffnet. Die Paraolympischen Spielen beginnen dann am 12. März.

Today was the last day of the Olympic Games in Vancouver. A lot of performers went home earlier than the February 28. It is quiet now in the Olympics Village and the location is empty now where performers and here trainer watched TV yesterday. What remain in the Village are lost and found clothes and a lot of good memories. They built in the village a check in for the luggage from the performers. All teams walked from here house to the exit from the village, as a symbol for the end of the games. They start to clean the village after March 2sc and on March 4th the first performers for the Paralympics will arrives the Olympic Village. It will start the Paralympics Games on March 12th.
