Heute spazierte ich durch das Dorf. Der Kern besteht hauptsächlich aus einigen Läden, Post und den Bahnhof. Ein Ehepaar aus St. Gallen führen seit zehn Jahren ein Restaurant in Pemberton. Am Bahnhof hält nur noch der Greyhound Bus. Es regnete den ganzen Tag. Beim Spazieren sagte eine Frau zu mir: „bei diesem Wetter gehen nur Leute mit Hunden spazieren.“
A stroll through Pemberton
Today I went for a stroll through the village. The main village has only grocery store, post office and the train station. A couple from Switzerland have a diner in Pemberton. On the train station stop only the Greyhound Bus. It had rain the whole day long and a person on the street told me: “In this weather go out only people with a dog.”
