Die letzten zwei Tage bin ich in Whistler Schneeschuh laufen gegangen. Die Wege führen rund um einen Bergsee. Ich hatte schöne Aussicht auf die Berge rund um Whistler und einen kurzen Blick ins Tal. Das Mitttagessen habe ich in einem Blockhaus eingenommen. Das Blockhaus wird geheizt.
Am 4.Februar sind die ersten Athleten im Olympischen Dorf eingezogen. Es sind die Teams aus den USA und Kanada. Bis zum 11.Februar werden nun täglich neue Teams ins Olympische Dorf einziehen.
Whistler gleicht nun einer belagerten Stadt, denn überall hat es Polizisten und über dem Dorf kreisen dauernd Helikopter.
Snowshoeing in Whistler
I went snowshoeing in Whistler in the last two days. The trails goes around a lake. I had a nice view to the mountain and a short look to the valley. I had lunch in a hut. The hut was heated.
It arrives the first athletes in the Olympic Villages on February 4th. They are the teams from the USA and Canada. Now it arrives every day new teams in the Olympic Villages until February 11th.
Whistler is now similar to a city in the war, because it has cups everywhere and it has helicopter over the village whole the time.
